PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS

At K2 Academy, the Gym Bugs Preschool Gymnastics program offers age-specific classes designed to develop motor skills, balance, flexibility, and coordination in children from 5 months to 5 years.

From parent-assisted classes for infants to independent gymnastics training for older children, the program
emphasizes both physical and social skill-building in a fun and engaging environment.

Each class incorporates gymnastics fundamentals like vault, bars, beam, and floor exercises to
nurture confidence and athletic development.

Gym Bugs: Toddler Classes
Our Toddler classes are designed to incorporate the earliest aspects of physical fitness and primary development for children aged 5 months to 36 months. Special consideration is given to parental/caregiver bonding and continues throughout the classes, ultimately concluding with the child's ability to separate and enter our next level of preschool gymnastics and motor skill development.

Parent/caregiver participation and enthusiasm is required in each of our toddler classes; Roly Poly & Doodle Bugs.

Gym Bugs: Preschool Classes

Our Preschool age classes provide 3-5 year old's a strong foundation in the basics of physical movement through the medium of gymnastics. Independence, cooperation, confidence, coordination, and skill are all concepts to be explored in Gym Bugs Preschool Program. Basic gymnastics terms, positions, and skills, as well as time on real gymnastics equipment sized specifically for the younger gymnast is included.

These Preschool gymnastics classes do not require a parent to participate; Bumble Bee, Caterpillar & Firefly.

Pricing Information

$45 Annual Membership Fee (Family Max of $90)

All students pay an annual membership fee upon enrollment and then each year on 1st of their anniversary month; max of $90 per family.

Clients must have a Payment Plan Form on file.

The card you leave on file will be charged on the 1st or the 15th of the month… YOU CHOOSE THE DATE!

Age 5-23 months / Parent & Me

A class for our smallest GYMBUGS! This class includes motor skill development, warm up songs that incorporate parent/child partner movement, stretches that enhance muscle development, baby sign language that will help build communication and use of props/tactile items that help develop the babies 5 major senses.

CATERPILLAR
Age 4

It is in this class that the fundamentals of gymnastics begin! Children learn how to deal with the physical aspects of gymnastics and fitness, but will also incorporate ABC’s and 123’s, following directions, forming a line, working within a group and mastering independent tasks. All gymnastics events, vault, bars, beam, floor and trampoline, will be incorporated into class.

DOODLE BUG
Age 18-35 months / Parent & Me

This class is designed to encourage group activity as well as individual participation. Your child (with your help during class) will learn gymnastics gross motor skills as well as balance, flexibility and coordination. Doodle Bug classes build a strong foundation for your child to develop a sense of athletic achievement, self-esteem, and social skills that will last a lifetime.

FIREFLY
Age 5

At this level, acquiring a healthy learning attitude is just as important as mastering specific skills! A higher level of gymnastics is attained as they begin to focus on perfecting cartwheels, backward rolls, pullovers, and other more complex gymnastics skills. All gymnastics events, vault, bars, beam, floor and trampoline, will be incorporated into class.

BUMBLEBEE
Age 3

Sharing equipment and taking turns is a big step! It is this class where children will begin to learn about separation from parent. Parents are now able to relax in our lobby while their child participates in their class. All gymnastics events, vault, bars, beam, floor and trampoline, will be incorporated into class.

HOMESCHOOL
Age 5+

This class is for boys & girls and is conveniently scheduled during the day to accommodate those in Homeschooling. This class teaches gym safety and basic gymnastics skills and is formatted for both beginner and intermediate skill levels.

How do I move up?

In our GymBugs program, students will automatically move up on their birthday! You can schedule your move-up to 30 days prior to your child’s actual birthday.

To maintain the integrity of our age groups, we ask that you move up to the new level no later than 90 days after their birthday.
